Everyone has experienced a blind pimple and often live to tell the story. Truth be told, these type of blemishes can be extremely painful and often result in an apparent scar.
But, what exactly is the difference between a zit and a blind pimple?
Simply said, a zit has a visible “head” that appears on the surface of the affected skin area while the latter on the other hand, does not have a “head” (or puss pocket), making it difficult to drain.
These types of blemishes look like a bump underneath the skin and tend to last longer than typical pimples.
Blind Pimple
There isn’t a specific cause to blind pimples as there are simply too many factors that can be held accountable. For instance, hormonal changes or dust causing the skin pores to clog can easily be one reason for these embarrassments, and due to the variety of attributing factors, pinpointing a cure is nearly impossible.
However, there are some things that can be done to help with prevention. Make sure to wash your face regularly with face cleansers that do not contain oil. Skin becoming oily is the main cause of blind pimples, it’s best to avoid touching your face with your hands too. Also, make sure to wear a mask, if possible, while cleaning and dusting. Regardless if the mask is worn, it is recommended to wash your face immediately after contact to help prevent clogging of the pores. Read more blind pimple treatments here.
Sometimes it is inevitable that you’ll experience a blind pimple. So, if one rears its ugly head, it’s time to fight back. The goal is to create a head on a “headless” pimple, so applying a warm wash cloth directly on the blemish until it becomes cold will help. Doing this in intervals will eventually produce a head and you will be able to slowly drain the contents over the next day or so.

Also, in order to prevent scarring, remember to dab Neosporin over the area as this will accelerate the healing process. Even dabbing tea tree oil on the zit before bedtime can help with producing a head.
This, however, does take a couple of days, but is known to also decrease chance of scarring. So, if you should ever experience a blind pimple, use this information and make sure not to attack it blindly. Also read about cystic acne home remedy here.

It seems too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the
hang of it!
